I love days like I had yesterday, full of good food, finds, and friends. First of all, I had chicken stock simmering in my crock pot all day long after cooking a whole chicken for dinner. Then we met the Azure Standard truck for our delivery and I got another 20 lbs of organic apples for only $20! Along with almond meal, organic rice, and organic hotdogs.
If you don’t order from Azure, I would highly recommend it. They have a HUGE selection of organic and natural food products at really great prices. Our driver just told me that they are expanding up into Wisconsin and Michigan, so if you are interested in starting a drop in your area, you should contact them for more information! They have a Facebook page where you can find their updates, and also get in touch with them!
We stopped by Goodwill and picked up some cute vintage glasses that the kids can use, and a few other little treasures. I love thrift store shopping!
Then I got to hang out with my great friend, and pick up our farm co-op order, and we got our first gallon of raw milk, since hubs decided he’s okay with trying it, finally. They also had some discount meat available, and I’m just so thankful for a local farm that offers such great products and actually delivers to our area! What makes a day great for you?
